B. Alan Haley grew up in a small town outside of Shreveport, Louisiana. He moved to Fargo, North Dakota in 2000, where he attended North Dakota State University. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2002. Alan continued his education at North Dakota State University, receiving his Master’s Degree in Child Development and Family Science in 2005. Following his schooling, Alan worked for The Village Family Service Center as a counselor. Alan returned to school and graduated from law school at the University of North Dakota in 2008. He is licensed to practice law in North Dakota. Alan joined Gjesdahl Law Office as an Associate Attorney in September 2008.

He is married to Britney, a Child Development Specialist. They have three children and enjoy spending as much time at the lakes as possible.
